Laughter Yoga Celebration For Joy and Everyday Wellness

If you aspire for a joyful, healthier life, discover Laughter Yoga and join us for our sessions.

What is laughter yoga?

Anyone can laugh when times are good, but Laughter Yoga teaches people to laugh unconditionally so that they can laugh even when times are hard. It provides strength in adversity, a coping mechanism to help people keep a positive mental attitude regardless of circumstances.

Some health benefits include stress reduction, relief of anxiety and depression, improvement of sleep, uplifted mood, greater focus, and more.

What can I expect in a session?
As a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, Lynette Hanover, will lead introductions, simple & fun laughter yoga exercises that almost anyone can do standing or sitting, and complete the session with a grounding meditation.

 

How do I prepare for a session?
  • This is a virtual, cameras on experience.
  • Most of the time mics are on so it’s best to be in a place that is distraction free.
  • It’s best to stand if possible for the majority of our time together, and have a chair available as needed.  Sitting is available during the entire session for those who are needing that option. It’s important to listen and honor what your body is in need of.
  • No yoga mat is needed unless you prefer to lay on one for the meditation.
